Biography
Professor Cahill聽served as a Vermont prosecutor for fifteen years, including as the elected Windsor County State鈥檚 Attorney (2016-2020), the Executive Director of the Vermont Department of State鈥檚 Attorneys (2014-2016), and as a Deputy State鈥檚 Attorney (2005-2014). Professor Cahill instituted Vermont鈥檚 first restorative justice program specifically targeted at intimate partner violence. He is also the principal author of the Vermont Electronic Communications Privacy Act.
